We utilize computer-cut templates generated by XPEL's Design Access Program (DAP). Minor clear coat swirl marks and very light scratches will often disappear entirely underneath the adhesive layer of the film. However, deep rock chips that have already removed the factory paint layer cannot be completely hidden by clear PPF. We strongly recommend installing paint protection as close to taking delivery of your new vehicle as possible.
We advise waiting at least 7 days after installation before giving your vehicle its first hand wash. This allows the specialized moisture barrier under the film to dry completely and ensures the wrapped edges adhere permanently to the panels.
